How to Increase / Decrease a Position?

🌞 Friendly Reminder:

Adjusting your position will affect your unrealized P&L, entry price, estimated liquidation price, margin, and margin ratio. Please manage your risks carefully to avoid potential losses.

If you already hold an active position, you cannot change the leverage multiplier. To adjust leverage, you must first close all positions for that trading pair and switch to a different trading mode.

📱 App Version

Increase a Position

1. Log in to the TriiiX app and go to Trade.

2. Tap the upper left contract list, which is manually set to BTC/USDT. 

 Select the trading pair you want to trade: 

3. Tap Open.

 

4. Set the opening price and quantity (in USDT or units).
    
5. Choose the direction that matches your current position:
    
   • For a long position → Buy to Open Long
   • For a short position → Sell to Open Short
      
6. The system will place an order based on the price you entered.
    

Decrease a Position

1. Tap the upper left contract list, which is manually set to BTC/USDT. 

Select the trading pair you want to trade: 

2. Tap Close Position.

 

3. Set the closing price and quantity (in USDT or units).
    
4. Choose the correct closing direction:
    
   • For a long position → Sell to Close Long
   • For a short position → Buy to Close Short
      
5. The system will place the order based on your chosen price.
   
    

💻 Web Version

1. Log in to your TriiiX account and go to Trade.

 

2. Select the trading pair you want to trade.

 

Increase a Position

1. Click Open Position.
2. Enter the opening price, quantity, and the position direction:
    
   • Buy to Open Long (for long positions)
   • Sell to Open Short (for short positions)
      
3. The system will place the order at your specified price.

 

Decrease a Position

1. Click Close Position.
    
2. Enter the closing price, quantity, and the closing direction:
    
   • Sell to Close Long (for long positions)
   • Buy to Close Short (for short positions)
      
3. The system will place the order at your specified price.

⏳ Limit Orders

• Orders placed using a limit price will appear under Open Orders.

 

• To cancel one order → click Cancel Order on the right-hand side button. 
• To cancel all orders → click Cancel All Orders on the right-hand side button. 
  Then confirm in the pop-up window.
  
   

📄 Order History

Go to Order History to view the past orders and check the status for each transaction.
